Homewood Community Church has two gathered worship services each Sunday. One at 9:00 AM and one at 10:30 AM. Please review the details on how the service will be organized at Gathered Worship.
Starting Sunday August 15, 2021, everyone present will be required to wear a mask, unless up front to preach, pray, or sing. Please read Tom’s Pastor’s Note and watch this short video regarding the decision to require masks: Video Message From Tom
We offer nurseries for both services. Up to 25 children per service ages 0-3.
We offer Children’s Worship for both services. Up to 25 children (ages 4-5). Children’s worship is during the sermon so your children will begin the service sitting with you and be dismissed before the sermon. They will return just before communion.
We no longer host a a livestream of the service, but we do post our service to a podcast ap. Visit Sermons to listen to the most recent services. Previous Livestream services are still available to watch on the HCC YouTube Channel below.
A note from Pastor Tom:
I hope you have enjoyed our 3-week mini-series at church on our mission and vision. I wanted to remind us “why we started Homewood Community Church” and “who we want to be as a church.” I encourage you to go back and listen to those sermons, Love God, Love your Neighbor, and Love your Place. Also, we gave three congregational updates, three “where are we headed” announcements. Due to the lack of connectivity we are experiencing as a congregation, we have linked those announcement videos below for you to watch. Please take a few minutes to watch them. We believe these 3 sermons and these 3 updates will give everyone a chance to “be on the same page” with the direction HCC is headed. Like I said in week 1, I couldn’t be more encouraged, proud, and excited about what God is doing in our new church.
